The long-awaited holiday season is coming back to Arlington with the 15th Texas Christkindl Market.
The long-awaited holiday season is coming back to Arlington with the 15th Texas Christkindl Market. This cherished event will fill the North Plaza at Globe Life Field with festive cheer from November 21-23 and November 28-December 23, 2025, running daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Drawing from the warm traditions of German markets, this Texas gathering merges Old World elegance with local friendliness. Visitors can explore numerous stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, decorations, and European-style food and treats. This year boasts an increased number of vendors, offering a fantastic selection of unique holiday items.
The market's roots lie in the strong sister-city ties between Arlington and Bad Königshofen, Germany, and it began in 2011. Partnering with Rothenburg ob der Tauber, another Friendship City, the event aims to bring the authentic spirit of Bavarian holidays and pure festive joy to Texas.
Expect over 30 live shows during the market's run, including performances by local groups and festive bands playing holiday music. There's also lots for families to enjoy, with child-friendly activities and perfect photo opportunities.
The highlight event, the Tree Lighting Ceremony, will occur on Friday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. The market's Christkindl Angel will activate the Christmas tree and illuminate the area with spectacular holiday lighting.
Entry to the Texas Christkindl Market is complimentary, and parking is free unless it's a football game day. It's advisable to check for parking and event specifics online before you go.
